Potterheads have been waiting for this app all winter and the app trailer is finally here. The highly-anticipated augmented reality game “Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery” is set to hit app stores in spring 2018.
This exclusive teaser comes from Jam City, the developers working with the Portkey Games label of Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment to develop the app.
Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery is the first game in which players can create their own character and experience life as a Hogwarts student.
You can create your own character Sims style. The game starts with a letter from Hogwarts and then you can attend the school, just like Harry. You’ll get to choose your own house, Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff and receive “lessons” from teachers and interact with other students.
The game will launch under Portkey Games, a new label dedicated to creating experiences inspired by the magic and adventures of J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World.
