Game-of-Thrones nooback

‘Game of Thrones’ Production Has Started With The Tightest Security Yet

Speaking on the Scandinavian chat show “Skavlan,” Coster-Waldau (Jamie), revealed the measures being implemented to plug any leaks of top-secret story details on the final season production of ‘Game of Thrones’.

If you remember, a few months ago, HBO was hacked and various footage was stolen from the show. The offenders demanded a ransom of several million dollars to prevent episodes from being leaked online.

According to Coster-Waldau, security for the final season is the tightest yet. Actors in each scene are equipped with earpieces and are fed their dialogue to deliver, line by line.

“We’re not even going to get the script,” he said. He recalled that during the first few seasons, actors got the printed scripts before production started. Then, to tighten security, scripts were sent through digital files.

HBO has not yet announced the airdate for this eighth and final “Game of Thrones” season.

Still, has to be one of our favorite scenes!
