Gabrielle Union released her first ever memoir, titled ‘We’re Going To Need More Wine: Stories That Are Funny, Complicated, and True.’this month.
The 44-year-old actress is famous for her roles in comedies like The Brothers, Think Like a Man, Bad Boys II etc.
“Throughout my life, I’ve often wondered aloud ‘How the hell did I end up here? Why me?’” Union told People.
“Not sure I’ve ever found all the answers to those questions, but in this book, I share my journey … the good, the bad, and the WTF. You will definitely need more wine for this one.”
She uses a raw tone in this moving collection of thought-provoking essays infused with her unique experiences and deep humor. Shes opened up about suffering through multiple miscarriages over the past three years and dedicating time and money to IVF procedures. Union tackles a range of experiences, including bullying, beauty standards, and coping with crushes, puberty, and the divorce of her parents.
