1. Kinokuniya – The famous Japanese retailer

This Japanese-based retailer is known for its manga, stationery, Asian books, comics, action figures etc. Kinokuniya Dubai is one of the largest bookstores in Dubai and with a huge variety of books to satisfy every reader’s needs. A must visit for manga lovers.

2. Emirates Literature Festival

An annual international literature festival, that features more than 250 sessions and unique workshops, masterclasses, panels discussions, and poetry reading. The 2017 Festival welcomed more than 180 writers, thinkers, and speakers from 30 countries. Chris Hadfield, Jeffery Archer, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and various renowned writers have been part of this week long festival. The 2018 Festival will be held from March 2-10, 2018. 3. Book Much Cafe

Book Munch is Dubai’s first literary cafe designed for the community. It hosts hand-picked titles of a myriad of genres that cater to all ages. 4. Dubai international Writer’s Centre (DIWC)

Is a part of the Emirates Literature Foundation and an associate organization of the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature. The DIWC is focused on year round writing and literary events. Located in the Al Shindaga Historical Neighborhood, DIWC holds monthly readings in Arabic and English. It brings together multicultural and multinational communities living in the region

5. House of Prose

A quaint and cozy bookstore, Hous of Prose, is the largest second-hand bookstore in the UAE. The familiar waft off used books and the weighty presence of many untold stories of its reader makes this one the most idiosyncratic bookstores in the region.
