The latest Avengers: Infinity War trailer dropped this weekend and it shows the Avengers arriving in Wakanda. Black Panther seems to be in the forefront and Wakanda opens itself to the rest of the world.
In the trailer, Okoye marches forward next to King T’Challa saying “When you said we ’re going to open Wakanda to the rest of the world, this was not what I imagined,” She adds “I was thinking the Olympics, or maybe a Starbucks.” Not today Okoye, not today.
During a Q&A at a fan event, directors Joe and Anthony Russo discussed some of the challenges they faced whilst creating this superhero-studded movie:
“Certainly, this is one of the most complicated movies ever made in many ways. I think all of us appreciate what a special and unique opportunity this was. No one has ever seen a film like this. No one has ever seen this number of loved characters in a single film with this caliber of cast. And that’s really what drove all of us.”- Anthony Russo
The directors were asked what the audience would take from this movie. Will they get to see their favorite superhero survive at the end? Joe Russo said he wanted them to come away with “a complex array of emotions.”
“It’s certainly going to be a lot of fun when you put all these characters together, but the theme of the movie is, ‘What it costs to be a hero in a complicated world’ and, ‘Does the value of doing what’s right outweigh the cost?’ I think there’s an important message in the film and it’s important to the world today. I think it’s going to be a really interesting ride for everyone.”
In this new Infinity War trailer you can catch glimpses of the Black Panther, (Princess) Shuri, Iron Man, Bucky Barnes, Captain America, Scarlet Witch, Black Widow, the Hulk, Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Thanos. The movie will also include Ant-Man, Thor, Loki,. So yea, pretty much every Marvel character.
Avengers: Infinity War will officially be released on April 27.
